My wife, and I, are in need of financial assistance for fertility treatment. We recently underwent an intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedure on March 10, 2025, which unfortunately proved unsuccessful. We again tried in April and successfully got pregnant unfortunately it ended in an ectopic pregnancy.

We reside in the last dot of, Florida. The IUI process required extensive travel over two weeks, leading to significant time off work. Tragically, LA was subsequently terminated from her position as a kitchen manager at a nursing home due to this absence.

She is a disabled veteran, having served 13 years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. She endured multiple combat deployments and sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from an IED explosion. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains a loving, generous, and grateful individual with a lifelong dream of becoming a mother.

We learned of the unsuccessful IUI on the three-year anniversary of my father’s passing, adding to the emotional weight of this situation. I am currently the sole provider for our household. We spent two years saving approximately $8,000 to cover the costs of our first IUI, an additional $6,000 for our second including travel, sperm, procedures, and medication.

It does not appear we will be able to afford a 3rd. We are asking for help so we can become Mom’s just like every girl dreams of.

LA is 43 years old, and the window of opportunity for her to conceive with her own DNA is rapidly diminishing. As much as I strive to fulfill her dream of motherhood, I am unable to do so financially at this time.

We are both active volunteers in our community and believe in giving back whenever possible. It is with humility and a heavy heart that I reach out for assistance.
